If you haven’t got your free ticket yet and are debating whether or not to attend, we’ve rounded up the top six reasons to join in and be part of the virtual action. So read on and register now to confirm your place at the 2023 INDE.Summit!
#1 – Understand key topics that are challenging architecture and design in our region today
The INDE.Summit is powered by Indesign Media Asia Pacific, with our team of editors working to curate the content and develop the sessions. This means each topic is put together by a team with their finger on the pulse, with unique insights built from a year of consulting and working with industry from right across the Indo Pacific.
Unlike other design conferences, the INDE.Summit is truly regional in its focus, pulling on ideas and contexts that lay outside of our immediate surroundings meaning that new perspectives can shine a light on innovative ways to solve the challenges we’re all facing.
Hear how a Singaporean firm is creating multi-use, hybrid spaces in response to dipping office occupancy, discover how an Australian developer is pioneering build-to-rent to reimagine our relationship with housing, or learn more about how an Indian studio creates spaces that are deeply informed by culture and community.
#2 – Hear from over 30 expert speakers
Each of the Summit sessions will be brought to life via a cohort of speakers that have been carefully chosen for their diverse experience, positions and approaches to design. Across the full day program, you’ll hear from over 30 speakers from across the region, who will shine a new light on topics ranging from workplace to community co-design.
Starting with a keynote by Dr. Eduard Hovy, our speakers will invert your thinking and push your design boundaries, drawing on lessons from outside the design space to inform the future of our practice. Join the likes of David Teh (PRA), Erin McDonald (Blaklash), Kellie Payne (Bates Smart), Nick Todd (Era-co), Sue Fenton (Woods Bagot) and MORE.
#3 – Interactive – ask questions, engage with speakers
Forget complicated virtual platforms and flat interfaces, our virtual event space encourages interactivity at every turn. See your questions appear on stage, emoji react to give live responses to our speakers’ insights and engage directly with attendees in the chat or face-to-face at a virtual table.
INDE.Summit brings the interactive elements of a live event into the convenience of a digital space, meaning you can join from anywhere at anytime without losing the ability to feel part of the action.
#4 – Practical takeaways with partner panels giving you insights in how to apply your learning
Our expert panels will be supplemented through the day with sessions from our event partners, who will draw on the topics discussed and provide real-world solutions. Discover the new products set to shake up workplace design, hear how residential kitchens are evolving and uncover how to navigate products that have serious sustainability credentials at our exclusive partner panels. Hear from the likes of Woven Image, Kaolin Tiles, Capral Aluminium, Technogym, Colorbond, K5, MillerKnoll, Zenith, Gaggenau, Bosch, Autex Acoustics and Milliken.
#5 – Free to attend
The best part? You get all this for FREE, with the INDE.Summit an open event to everyone from right across the region. Forget paywalls and gated content, everything in the Summit is made available to all, with a focus on disseminating knowledge equally and openly across the Indo Pacific.
#6 – Access to INDE.Awards digital Gala
PLUS, all registered attendees will have free access to tune into the INDE.Awards digital Gala. Taking place on Thursday August 10th, the awards will be held in Sydney and broadcast around the globe in the same interface used for the Summit. Simply jump back online the next evening and join the online event. You’ll be able to experience the gala as it happens, with a front row seat to hear the winners of each category.
