Best of the Decade awards are two new era-defining accolades that honour the lasting impact of a single, influential piece of architecture or design in the Indo-Pacific. Open to entrants across the region, Best of the Decade | The Living Space and Best of the Decade | The Work Space recognise the exceptional execution of and lasting impact made by a single, influential piece of architecture or design. Best of the Decade is Jury-decided and will also be open to People’s Choice Awards.
Your project must have been completed between 1 January 2010 and 21 February 2020. To be eligible for this category your project and your studio must be located in the Indo-Pacific region.
People’s Choice voting opens on 22 April 2020 and closes on 22 May 2020.
The Luminary and Prodigy Awards are not open for self-nomination. Our panel of INDE. Experts and Indesign Media Editors nominate the recipients of The Luminary and The Prodigy accolades. In the past, trophy winners in these categories have been decided by People’s Choice voting. In 2020, the INDE.Awards Jury will select The Luminary of the Year and The Prodigy of the Year, who will each receive a trophy. All nominated Luminaries and Prodigies, however, receive The Luminary title and The Prodigy title respectively. Trophy winners only receive the ‘of the Year’ accolade. See our Category Criteria page for more information.
