Winner revealed – The Photographer – Commercial

  •   30 August 2023

With one of two new photography categories included in the 2023 INDE.Awards, the winner of The Photographer – Commercial has been announced and Nicole England is the proud recipient.

Partner of The Photographer – Commercial is Image Makers Association Australia, an organisation that is dedicated to celebrating, promoting and supporting professional and emerging photographers through education and industry connection.

The Photographer – Commercial category asks that a photographer focus on projects from the commercial sector, educational facilities, workplaces, hotels and retail but not residential projects. The entry comprises a series of images that tells the story of the project through the visual and without words.

In awarding the accolade of winner to Nicole England for her photographic portrayal of AMP Workplace at QQT designed by Hassell, the jury remarked, “There is an elegance and clarity to Nicole’s work that makes it instantly recognisable. She photographs architecture with a sensitivity that allows a spatial environment to breathe and tell its own story, delicately framed by her expert eye.”

As a Melbourne-based architecture and interiors photographer, England works with many of the industry’s top architects and designers. Her work is in demand and the results of her talent and experience are plain for all to see.

Congratulations to Nicole England. Your ability to capture a commercial project through your lens in order to tell a visual story has received the ultimate recognition and celebration.
