Adelaide-based Jon Goulder is an award-winning fourth-generation furniture maker, master craftsperson and skilled designer. He studied furniture design and fine woodworking at Canberra School of Art before establishing his design consultancy, Jon Goulder Designer Maker. His work has featured in numerous international exhibitions and publications, and is held in many permanent collections in Australian museums. He is passionate about nurturing the next generation of Australian designers. Currently Senior Designer and Maker with Snøhetta Architects, Jon is establishing its local product design practice while also working with the studio internationally. In his own business he continues to develop one-off and limited-edition collections with Broached Commissions, Spence & Lyda, and Local Design.
