Sharyn Cairns is an Australian photographer recognised for her enduring work across interiors, food, travel, and lifestyle. With a focus on creating beautiful images that convey both mood and emotion, she uses light and shadow to draw viewers into scenes that feel authentic, warm and visually rich. Her work is regularly featured in notable international and local magazines: Vogue Living, Belle, Dwell, Kinfolk, The Local Project, Elle Decoration UK and many others.

Sharyn is co-author and photographer of Perfect Imperfect, a book inspired by the Japanese philosophy of wabi-sabi. It celebrates the beauty of imperfection across the homes and studios of Australian and international creatives. In addition she has photographed numerous cookbooks for well-known chefs such as Maggie Beer, Shane Delia, Guy Grossi, Tobie Puttock and Jacques Reymond. Travelling regularly for her work, Sharyn is continually seeking new inspirations and perspectives that inform her style.
