James Grose has been a practicing architect for more than forty years. From 1988 to 1998 he and partner Nicola Bradley practiced as Grose Bradley based in Sydney and undertaking mostly residential commissions. In 1998 they merged their practice into BVN, where James was the CEO from 2006 – 2018, retiring as a principal in 2022. Since then, he has been undertaking a Master of Fine Art at the National Art School in Sydney and undertaking some private commissions. His most recent house has just been completed in Goa, India. Notable projects include the Australian Embassy in Bangkok, The Kinghorn Cancer Centre and B-Hive in Auckland.
