Adele Winteridge is founder of interdisciplinary design practice Foolscap Studio. Working across the commercial, hospitality, residential and public domain sectors, Adele and her team endeavour to create spaces and cultural experiences that bring people together and contribute to a city’s identity.
From interior architecture through to visual identity and cultural programming, she sees every project as an opportunity to explore the boundaries of what design can do for people, communities and clients alike.
Adele studied Interior Architecture at Curtin University and initially worked in high end commercial fitouts. A calling to start designing more dynamic projects resulted in the founding of Foolscap Studio in 2009.
While remaining purposely lean, the studio continues to grow, recently completing high profile projects including NOMA Australia, Little Creatures Barrel Hall and Wulugu Pop-Up, a multi-faceted site activation of Barangaroo, Australia’s largest urban renewal project.
While adhering to no single aesthetic, Adele’s work through Foolscap Studio is defined by striking a nimble balance of function, resourcefulness and a healthy dose of the unexpected.
