Elements of Nature is an 743-square-metre marketing and sales office for a township development located just outside Bangalore, India. As the first built intervention for the larger development, the project is conceived as a temporary structure that would serve the site during its early phases. The building is designed to be fully dismantlable, with a steel framework and biodegradable bamboo cladding that allow components to be disassembled and reused after their lifecycle of five to 10 years, reducing long-term environmental impact.

Set within a dusty landscape, the architecture responds to its context through a sequence of calm spaces that contrast the industrial terrain. Visitors enter through a monolithic wall and wooden door into a clear spatial progression from reception to AV room, meeting areas and a café. The layout slows the experience, allowing visitors to understand the project before being introduced to the idea of ownership.

Light and materiality shape the interiors. Bamboo screens filter daylight, casting shifting patterns across micro-cement floors and textured surfaces. A restrained palette of rammed earth, bamboo and natural wood grounds the spaces, while outdoor elements, such as lawns, a children’s play area and a prototype yurt, extend the experience beyond the building.
