In the beginning, there was only a whisper of a current, a nascent trickle carving its path through our design. This was the spirit of our Design Narrative, born from our deep, authentic engagement with the Medibank team and the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung community. It flowed with excitement and passionate learning of the values of our client and their team, of what the future of work looks like and how we could enrich their every day and bring their work to life.
As the design meandered and journeyed, the importance of place and connection to the land and waterways of Melbourne became clear. Held up by the pillars of Wellbeing, Connection and Inclusivity, the Life Force of Water narrative was nurtured into being. The resulting workplace is a bold evolution of an agile workstyle, reimagined in response to new ways of working post-pandemic; a dynamic environment that attracts and engages employees while fostering collaboration, creativity, and focus.
The concept, Life Force of Water, draws inspiration from Victoria’s natural landscapes, mapping a journey from Mt Baw Baw through the Yarra Falls to the river known as Birrarung, infusing zones with distinct energy levels. A destination workplace for the Work.Rhythm workstyle of Medibank.
