The GINLEE Studio store at Orchard Road reimagines the fashion retail experience as a gentle, flowing landscape articulated by materiality, light, and greenery. Set within the dense environment of a shopping mall, the space unfolds like a walk through a serene garden, offering moments of pause, discovery, and reflection.

A restrained base palette of off-white, muted sage green, and soft greys forms the foundation, animated by a series of translucent orange gradient panels that subtly shift and glow with changing light and movement. Clothing racks are interwoven between these panels, allowing partial views of garments and visitors beyond, creating a choreography of transparency and opacity that fosters a quiet sense of movement and curiosity.

Lush planters are integrated throughout the store, softening boundaries and reinforcing the immersive, nature-inflected atmosphere. Fitting rooms extend this experience by incorporating living plants directly into their alcoves, transforming a private moment into a tactile connection with nature. Complementing the main retail space, a MAKE by GINLEE kiosk located at one side of the shop showcases the brand’s upcycling and on-demand production processes, foregrounding sustainability and craft, and process as integral components of the retail journey.
