MAKE by GINLEE is an experience-based concept store located at New Bahru, that offers sustainable, on-demand fashion and lifestyle products, that minimises waste and promote mindful consumption.

Designed as a workshop with a factory-like aesthetic, the plant filled space is anchored by a production area where they expand upon their signature on site pleat-to-order process, to include other onsite production and garment up-cycling equipment and activities. There are two workshop tables with an aluminium slot tool wall filled with product components, sample items, forming the backdrop. This is where guests can engage in the production process in immersive guided sessions. A retail area selling ready-to-wear and ready-made products complements the workshop space, together with a small garden area at the entrance with a bench that allow passers-by to sit down and find some respite.

Flexibility and functionality, and the ability to evolve and accommodate change, are at the heart of the design for the store. The whole space is unified by a timber grid structure that is suspended across the whole shop, where various metal fixtures like clothing racks, mirrors, plant holders, lights, can be suspended from. Uplighter and track lights are also integrated into the grid.
