The Project
Greybox is a house that wraps around a courtyard in constant conversation with the landscape. A house in foggy grey that reveals itself when the fog passes and the garbage trucks announce their arrival, lying low and unbothered. Greybox affords each room a democratic view of the active courtyard, insects and humans simultaneously needing nourishment and using the courtyard as a rendezvous point to feed and bathe. It’s an informal setting, encouraging its inhabitants to rest and refuel where the sunlight feels right.
