Peter Marko is a Melbourne-based photographer and filmmaker working across architecture, design, and the built environment. Through his studio Oliben Media, he collaborates with architects, designers and brands to create considered visual narratives that balance clarity, atmosphere and intent.

The Project

Mondrian Gold Coast, designed by Fraser & Partners, brings Ian Schrager’s boutique hotel brand to Burleigh Heads.
The project reinterprets coastal architecture as ‘barefoot luxury’, drawing from the surrounding dunes, headland and ocean. Its two sculptural towers and open, flowing spaces are designed to connect directly with the beachfront setting, softening the line between inside and out.

The result is a hotel that balances the ease of beachside living with the more polished, social energy expected of a Mondrian.
