The Project
The concept for the Gerard’s Restaurant photography began with a question, “How can the architecture of a hospitality venue be presented visually while still giving it the vitality and atmosphere that service and patrons bring?”
From this the idea of capturing the restaurant ‘post service’ was conceived. Drawing from elements of reinvention and permanence, reminiscent of ancient structures like the temple of Baalbek, Gerard’s evokes the convivial spirit of the night. Styled by Cristina Guerrero Fernández, each photograph is a timeless fragment of hospitality.
