Bahrkart, as the name suggests, is a sculptural piece of furniture that pays homage to a traditional bar kart of old that would usually feature a light frame, one to two shelves and small wheels. The design reinterpretes this and enforces the ornamental nature of a bar cart rather than its utility, by leaning into a sculptural form.
Bahrkart is designed to be a statement piece in its own right, rather than serve as a storage trolley. Through the restricted material palette of solid timber the design demonstrates its own different facets like a crown. Bahrkart is textural while remaining simplistic.
