Ronnoco Farm

Polly Harbison Design
Australia

Ronnoco Farm house ia a series of stone walls rising from an exposed hinterland ridgeline to create a house that is integrated with the landscape. Guided by crafted modernism, minimalist forms are enriched with site-driven textures and honest materials. Eschewing preciousness, the design prioritises functional beauty and resilience, embracing the rhythms and the realities of rural life.

Beyond brief requirements, the design delivers quiet luxury through restraint – spaces that improve with age and use. Dark-stained spotted gum joinery, textured render, and carefully curated colour moments create warmth without fragility. The result is a sanctuary that feels simultaneously refined and relaxed, loyal to its rural context and the authentic lives lived within.
