Cosy Cocoon is an immersive art and light installation conceived as a functional outdoor gazebo. Crafted from repurposed stainless steel rings and mirrored discs, by-products from the artist’s Chroma Light series, the work transforms discarded material into a sculptural space designed to be entered and experienced. Formed through an intricate mesh of interconnected rings, the structure filters light, casting shifting shadows while its mirrored surfaces reflect and fragment the surroundings. Suspended at its centre, the Chroma Light completes a full-circle moment, bringing the material narrative back into the heart of the installation. As one steps inside, the gazebo unfolds as an immersive environment shaped continuously by light and movement.

At its core, Cosy Cocoon embodies the circularity of design, where materials are reintroduced into the creative cycle rather than discarded. By merging function with artistic expression, it is a compelling exploration of reuse, sustainability, and material consciousness.
