A new luxury cosmetic clinic within a heritage conservation area. A space that serves to elevate the brand and enhance the client experience, while meeting myriad functional and clinical requirements. Simplicity and sophistication, infused with a youthful energy is executed to high levels of quality, comfort, and warmth.

The client requested a clinical experience of quality, with an ambition for an enduring presence as a multi-faceted cosmetic treatment hub. This included surgeons consult rooms along with treatment and retail areas within a compact footprint, balancing function and beauty.

Informed by the context of the prestigious locale and the predominantly female clientele, the interior is warm, comfortable, and highly detailed with an almost residential quality. Femininity is represented in a tension of materials that balance hard and soft, classic and contemporary, and rounded forms.

The layout prioritises privacy, with strategic placement of consulting rooms and airlock entry points maintaining confidentiality and a sense of exclusivity. Sightline’s internally and externally are highly considered. The site allowed the opportunity to include a landscaped edge, a garden to surround the interior.

Lighting is key in balancing practicality and emotion. Consulting rooms are positioned to benefit from natural light, with the ‘landlocked’ procedure room utilising an illuminated stretched ceiling that eliminates shadows.
