High Line Bangkok is a pioneering zero-waste pavilion that transforms Bangkok’s urban infrastructure into an engaging public space, promoting wellness through design. Reimagining ordinary street lighting posts as dynamic social hubs, the project connects infrastructure to community well-being, fostering both physical and social interaction.

Designed by Thai architectural firm Jenchieh Hung + Kulthida Songkittipakdee / HAS design and research, the pavilion integrates natural ventilation, shading, and locally recyclable Thai fabrics, creating a semi-outdoor environment that adapts to the tropical climate. Located in Bangkok City Hall Square, the pavilion engages users with natural light and shaded zones, offering spaces for social interaction, relaxation, and reflection throughout the day and night.

By linking infrastructure with nature, High Line Bangkok supports physical wellness and community engagement while showcasing a sustainable approach to urban space design. The project transforms everyday urban elements into spaces that enhance public health and well-being, while honoring cultural context and sustainability.
