The new Canberra Hospital expansion is a nine-level critical health services building designed to integrate with existing facilities, fit within the local community, and enhance the public realm experience. The design results from extensive community and clinical user consultation.

The project introduces a main entrance, a welcome hall, that celebrates culture and provides an intuitive pathway across the campus. It offers high-quality clinical services, including emergency, medical imaging, intensive care, operating theatres, and inpatient units, focusing on sustainability as one of Australia’s first fully electric hospitals.
