At the core of the studio is a strong belief in delivering design excellence through a process of contextual response and client understanding. The studio, a place of high energy, brings together the combined experience of staff, clients and other design consultants and specialists, providing a hub for ideas to flourish. The process is one of collaboration and exploration ensuring that new and innovative design solutions are constantly uncovered.
The studio has a national presence with projects located from far Northern Queensland, Central NSW and South Australia and the practice’s capabilities include all aspects of architecture and design specialising in boutique multi-residential developments, resorts, bespoke residences, retail, commercial and tourism projects.
While Myers Ellyett, was formally established five years ago, the friendship and love of architecture between the two principals began 21 years ago at first year of Architecture school. Foremost in the process is collaboration. Over time project typologies have expanded, however both Myers and Ellyett hold on tight to the very simple values they established from day one. That is – architecture is a response. A response to a site’s physicality, to climate, to region, to culture, to craftmanship, to a client’s brief and to the human scale. In listening to these forces and with much collaboration, to create architecture.
