Shortlist revealed – The Retail Space

  •   5 July 2023

In the shortlist of The Retail Space at the 2023 INDE.Awards, the projects are as innovative as they are varied. While each defines a brand and presents an experience for customers, the thought behind each design is both layered and detailed.

While there are wonderful designs overflowing with colour in some projects, others have more pared back and minimal palettes and provide sophisticated environments for customers to browse and shop. Each of the projects is appropriate to its site and context, of course, and while there are grand gestures, such as a spiral staircase that reaches to the heavens, and motifs and murals that portray a brand’s origins, every design is a credit to the architect and designer and to the client.

As partner of The Retail Space, Zenith understands the importance of the places that showcase product and provide an experience. Creating a beautifully designed space is the best way to enhance a brand and differentiate it from its peers. In this category, each architect and designer has realised a particular vision that makes a statement, ensuring exceptional function within a dynamic form.

Congratulations to all the shortlisted of The Retail Space for bringing light and life to the shopping experience whether located in the High Street, a shopping mall or a precinct. Visiting an expertly designed store makes a world of difference to purchasing and also connects us to each other.
