Having worked in 40 Indian cities, we have also received commissions in Spain, Montenegro, Mauritius, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, to name but a few.

With a diverse portfolio of master planning, education, hospitality, retail and commercial projects, the practice continues its quest for creating innovative design solutions that are sustainable on a large scale. Sanjay Puri Architects employs 72 people and the projects reflect design solutions that are contextual and create spaces that revolutionise the way they are experienced from the essence of the firm’s design philosophy.

Studying the location, climate, available materials within the region and assessing the functional requirements with a very detailed analysis forms the base of our design approach to any project. Creating sustainable design solutions by taking cognizance of the site orientation, the sun direction, the wind movements and planning in a way to facilitate natural light and ventilation is a key aspect of our building designs.

Rain water harvesting, water recycling and harnessing solar energy are factors always integrated with our building designs. After analysing the functional requirements of the client and the building typology we explore spatial configurations, geometries and volumetric proportions to evolve innovative design solutions that transcend boundaries in terms of perceiving spaces. With our work predominantly in Indian cities, the response to the climate forms an integral part of our design process and approach rendering all our buildings sustainable.

Each project we undertake explores multiple solutions prior to creating a design that allows its users to perceive spaces in a functional and innovative way.
